Had my cervix checked, my last ultrasound today and my weekly doctor's appointment. Things are looking great! I'm right on track gaining weight, I actually lost a pound which can happen at the end. You normally don't gain more and some woman even lose weight. So 27lbs I've gained so far. My cervix is shortening and thinning, so truly Presley could arrive anytime now! What it comes down to is if I start bleeding again (a lot) I need to head to the hospital or if I start having contractions. I then will end up getting a emergency c-section, but we are going to try our hardest to keep little P in until our scheduled c-section on August 27th...let's shoot for that! Need to continue to lay real low like I have been doing....modified activity. Which is totally fine because I'm at the point where I feel like she is going to fall out when I walk or I just have a bowling ball in between my legs. I'm not swollen until the end of the day and on warmer days like this. Sleeping is no longer fun as about 2 or 3 in the morning after waking up 3 times already, my hips and legs get sore. Besides all that...life is grand and I know I am going to miss her movement inside me, but Drew and I are dying to meet her!!
The ultrasound lady said that she has daddy's nose and I'm pretty sure she has his lips. She has those chubby cheeks just like me...so she does have something from me. haha! Doesn't look like she has much hair either. Like I said before, I think all babies come out looking like dad to prove it's theirs and then as the weeks go on, more characteristics of the mom come out. The ultrasound lady completely agreed. So as of now, Presley is a mini Drew...hopefully some of my characteristics will come around with time! She is about 6lbs and a couple ounces right now, which was great to hear (in case she does arrive early)!
Somewhere during the last couple weeks...I lost track of my weeks, so I'm actually 36 weeks now. I think they just switched the date according to my c-section date and not my original due date. But no matter what, I am now 36 weeks. This pregnancy is just flying by, I can't keep track.

Next week my sis, Lucas and Matt are coming into town! I can't wait to meet my nephew already!! Ahhh, Friday can't come soon enough! Then the whole fam, minus Drew and I are off to Chelan for our annual Chelan Trip. So jealous, but I know it's best that I stay here at home close to the hospital. Drew is going over there one day to go golfing with the boys, I will be lounging on the couch taking it easy. Let's just hope P stays in there that weekend as the whole fam will be out of town.
Next weekend needs to get here already, Friday night is Ashlee and Steve's wedding which I can't wait for either, it's going to be just perfect...I know it. Then Saturday is Jen's baby shower for baby Chase! I can't believe her and my pregnancies are coming to an end. It's crazy how fast this has gone. And I can't wait to see all of the girls because it's truly been FOREVER, July 3rd to be exact when we were at Emerald Downs for Trisha's b-day. Can't wait!!
