Embarassing doctor's appointment...

Today I had a doctors appointment with my dermatologist, well not my normal dermatologist but a different one. I went in January for my annual check up but have been noticing lots of changes in my skin since then which is another glamorous thing that happens while you are pregnant. I wanted to make sure all was okay before Presley's arrival as I probably won't make it back in there for a while. I ended up having to go to a different doctor in the office. Let me tell you...that may have been the most embarassing doctors appointment that I have EVER had. I don't get embarrased all that easily, but this did it for me. I wasn't sure if Dr. Collyer was a man or a woman so I asked the nurse when she checked me in. She said oh "a man". I thought to myself...great, he will be a older man so who cares since he has to look at my body. As I am waiting I look on the wall there he is, a picture of Dr. Collyer possibly the best looking doctor I have ever seen. Awesome! This will be fun...ha. As I'm sitting there waiting I keep catching myself looking at his picture, then I think to myself "Lisa, who cares...your pregnant and he will obviously notice that so stop worrying what you look like. He knows pregnant bodies go crazy." I continue to sit there on the patient chair but couldn't sit there too long because my feet felt like they were starting to swell just from them hanging. So in turn I moved to the normal chair. I hear his voice and in he walks...SERIOUSLY, your even better looking than your picture? Great! So in the end here I am sitting on the patient table sweating (because that's what I do these days), I have this awesome looking nursing bra on because that's the only thing that fits me these days, barely. Presley is moving like crazy so my stomach looks disoriented and here he was checking the top torso of my body, also my buttcrack and all. I know this is just the beginning as when you have baby everything goes out the window...but man. That was one eventful day.

And I must give a HUGE THANK YOU to my oh so amazing husband! As we speak he is getting my car all finished up and ready for P's arrival. We didn't have leather seats in our car, so we got leather put in. It cleans up better than the other stuff. Not only leather but heated seats too which I just love! Then he just texted me saying he was getting my front two windows tinted too to match the rest. Man, P is going to be riding around in style! Now to get that carseat back in there like I had before the leather was put in. After that...we will be all set! Can't wait to see Drew become a daddy because he is truly going to be most amazing dad!!

Here is one more picture of me at 36 weeks, almost to 37. Feel like she is going to fall out when I walk these days. Or when she moves her leg is going to just push on out. Or it's like having a bowling ball in between your legs. It's the weirdest feeling now when she moves. She is doing good sitting pretty in there! Tomorrow I have another doc appointment, my last appointment with my normal gyno until our c-section, as she leaves for Sweden this weekend. So if anything was to happen, another doctor would be delivering P which is okay. My file is already at the hospital in case something was happen, the other doctors would be in the know. But fingers crossed she sits tight in there for just a little bit longer!

Off to go watch another Baby's First Day and Baby Story! ;)
