After a long day at work...there is nothing better than a nice glass of wine. But these days, it's artichokes. OH MY WORD, they are absolutely delicious. Can't get enough of them. If we really want to go there...strawberries too. Mmmmmm mmm good! Anywho...moving on.
Below are some pics of our beautiful furniture that we got. The closet next to our dresser in our room is from ikea. When you walk in our room you almost feel like you are in New York apt. because everything has it's place. It has to have it's place because it's so full of goodies. We still need to get the bassinet in there. (No making fun of our tv from 1920...it just won't die).

This is our part of our beautiful furniture set that we got from my brother and sis-in-law. The dresser fits just perfect between the two windows in our family room (and it was actually sunny out when I took this pic). Remember...our house is very unique when it comes to bringing baby into the world. Just the way we like it!
This is the changing table (kind of our storage as of now) which is part of the furniture set as well. It works out just great right there.

We do have the crib up, but I didn't want to post any pics of it quite yet. We still need to patch up the holes where we took the shelfing down. We are then going to paint. My mom is going to come and paint a tree behind the crib (she loves doing things like this, hence why our room growing up had Strawberry Shortcake all over the walls), perhaps something along the lines of this...

That is it for now. Still need to get the bassinet like I mentioned and the glider in here. It's slowly but surely coming together! It's been so fun getting things ready for little P! Yes, it would be nice to have a house where we can do the whole nursery with everything in her room, but we don't right now so we are making the best out of our condo until that day comes!!
Off to Vancouver this weekend to go play! Leaving Drew up here though because he doesn't get Monday off like me. :( So three day weekend in the Couve it is!! Wish he was coming but it will be a nice little roadtrip for Presley and myself!
