Easter and Julie & Eric's Engagement Party!

Last weekend was one busy weekend! Julie and Eric's Engagement Party was on Saturday...and what a fun time it was and weather! It was so much fun to celebrate their engagement and to see everyone again! A huge thanks to Trish and Olivia for bringing Jen and I non-alcoholic wine, I'm thinking Presley loved it because the whole next day...kick up a storm! Like mother like daughter! It was great to see Jen and Jess because they have grown oh so much! Jess is due in 2 weeks, I can't believe it. Baby Miller will be here before we know it! It was truly fun times all around! Thanks for getting engaged guys because it was just the beginning of more amazing times to come!

The next day was Easter! So off to my parents we went. It was a little odd this year as my dad was still in Arizona, Nadine and Steve couldn't make it, Janet and Bill were still Palm Springs and Rachel was at work. So it was a small gathering of sorts...but nice to be around the fam. So Drew, my grandma, mom, Aunt, Jamie and Dana made it to my parent's house. It was delicious and fun no matter what!

Off to the doctors I went today for my monthly check up! My mom joined me this time because she wanted to hear Presley's heartbeat! It was hilarious...the nurse was using the doppler finding Presley's heartbeat and she kept kicking it. They would find it and then move away, find it then kick it. She has been all over the place lately, loving life in there! I have gained a whopping 6 lbs, so the doctor said I need to start eating more protein to gain weight. At the beginining of my pregnancy protein was the hardest because I just didn't want to eat it and it tasted horrible, then with my cold/flu that I had, she thinks I didn't gain much weight during that. So protein it is!! My tummy is measuring right on track where I am supposed to be and everything else looks fabulous!

Off to go pack my bag for Palm Springs! Yes, checked the weather down there...and I don't mean to rub it in but, mid 90's!!!!! And I have a feeling baby Miller may just make his appearance while I am gone. We shall see!!
